Mr. Chapman joined Becker, Schroader & Chapman, PC in 2001, after two years of practicing commercial litigation for a national law firm in St. Louis, MO. He handles personal injury and workers' compensation cases, including industrial and construction accidents, automobile and transportation cases, maritime and deckhand injuries, products liability and premises liability cases, healthcare negligence injuries, and toxic exposure cases.
Mr. Chapman has won jury trials in both Missouri and Illinois and is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
In addition, Mr. Chapman has successfully represented labor unions in disputes with management over just cause terminations and rights to unemployment compensation. He also serves as legal counsel to the Chouteau, Nameoki, and Venice Drainage and Levee District.
Prior to attending law school, he served for six years as a munitions systems specialist in the Illinois Air National Guard, 183rd Tactical Fighter Group, based in Springfield, IL.
